I'm doing 4 or 5 days a week of Physiotherapy and seem to be doing quite well,
but that is me writing. I'm meeting many new people in my physiotherapy group who
have all different stories and they are all rising above it all.
I just returned from Thanksgiving at brother Tom's cabin in Kelowna. It was
really good and I could feel my improvement, which was nice. He finished the
master bath, so I was able to have a "real" shower although I'm able
to shower here too. His girlfriend Val, helped me a lot, and I appreciated it.

I still feel like I am waking up and wondering why this happened to me. I haven't got a good answer yet but I'm sure there is a good reason for it even if it is to learn what many other people have had to go through and rise above. So what if my life has had all the good things and for sure you can't take the money with you so it's not about the person with the biggest and prettiest house wins. Or who skied the biggest mountain or who rode the biggest wave so what at the end will justify the effort or justify the gifts you've been given? I have been reading a book that my non-fiction book club read and now that the big election in the US is in full swing. I think it is not for Americans to vote for red party or blue party, but it is to think about what will give people (and the planet) the best life. If you'd like to check it out of your library ask for "The Price of Civilization by Jeffery Sachs" He really gives things for everyone to think about! I have lots of time and incentive to think about what is best for all.
